Chloé Cornu Wong
Chloé Cornu-Wong is a young French Hongkonguese skier. At only 15 years old, she’s already facing some of the best talents of the international circuits under the Hong-Kong banner.
Growing up in Nice (France), between mountain and sea, Chloe developed very early an appetite for board sports. At 8 years old, she took part in her first ski competition. The passion for downhill skiing only grew then. As a member of the Nice Interclub, she crossed path with quite a few champions, current and of the past, which only reinforced her desire to continue on this quest.
Chloe is quite proud of her Hongkonguese heritage, through her mom. She enjoys going back home to recharge as much as the distance allows her to. In 2017, she chose to compete on international tournaments under the Hongkonguese flag. This choice was well repaid since then as she was able to maintain her presence without interruption in the National Team.
As a civilian, Chloe is a discrete, charming and thoughtful young woman. Beyond her performances on the slopes, she’s well aware of her role model status among a new generation of Honkonguese whose skiing activities are still only bourgeoning. Skiing was thus far only accessible to a scarce minority in greater China. Its now growing popularity could offer Chloe a wonderful platform to inspire and influence her pairs.
